The Siam Country Club’s Rolling Hills Course is situated 2.5 kilometers beyond the Waterside Course on the route to Chee Chan Mountain. Designed by the renowned Schmidt-Curley Design, Inc., this course incorporates traditional elements commonly found in timeless mature parkland courses.

The front nine stretches out from the clubhouse over relatively flat terrain, offering an open feel with minimal foliage and large trees. The unique 5th hole features two interchangeable greens, varying the length and difficulty. Several holes on this nine provide different approaches to the green, allowing golfers to choose their level of aggressiveness. With severe run-offs on most greens, careful approach shots are crucial. The risk-reward dynamic here offers unique scoring opportunities.

The back nine features more elevation changes, with two large lakes influencing play, particularly between holes 10 and 18. The landscape transitions from marshlands to small stands of trees, with many planted pines utilizing straw for a classic design touch. The par-5 15th hole is particularly dramatic, with its green protected by a formidable “wall of death.” Shots that fall short or veer right land in a series of progressively deeper and steeper 12-meter tall bunkers. A left-side bailout is often the best strategy. The final three holes ascend to the course’s highest point, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside, Pattaya, and other Siam golf courses. Success here requires meticulous attention and focus before descending back to the clubhouse on the 18th.

The modern Thai-inspired clubhouse at Rolling Hills is both functional and elegant, with luxurious marble surfaces throughout. Catering to all golfers’ needs, the high-quality lockers, restaurant, and pro shop resemble those of a private club more than a daily-use facility. Enjoying the 19th hole is a perfect way to extend your time at the Siam Country Club, Rolling Hills. The clubhouse offers excellent views over the course, and a meal with cold beverages provides a fitting end to a perfect day at one of Pattaya’s best golf courses.
