Phoenix Gold Golf & Country Club underwent renovations in 2015 and has since hosted prestigious events like the Kings Cup (European Tour) and Thailand Open (Ladies European Tour) in 2016 and 2017, respectively. In 2018, it hosted the Royal Cup (Asian Tour) and Ladies European Thailand Championship (LET), with the European Tour returning in 2019.

Designed by Dennis Griffiths, Phoenix Golf boasts wooded, rolling terrain across its 27 holes – Ocean, Lake, and Mountain courses – offering breathtaking views of surrounding mountains and the Gulf of Thailand. Palm tree-lined fairways, shallow bunkers, and sloping greens characterize this parkland course, complemented by large mango, eucalyptus trees, and flowering shrubs for added natural beauty.

While the Lake Course features water hazards, the Ocean Course offers panoramic views without water on any hole until the scenic finishing hole, a par-5 overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. The Mountain Course stands out for its picturesque jungle-clad hills and a stunning laser-carved Buddha image on a rock face.
